Your borrowing power depends on your income, living expenses, existing debts, dependants, deposit and the lender’s assessment. Liran can review your position and help you understand what may be realistic before you start making offers.
Potentially, yes. Eligible first home buyers may be able to purchase with a minimum 5% deposit through the Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme, without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance. Property price caps and other eligibility requirements still apply, so Liran can help check whether the Scheme may suit your situation.
If you are eligible and your loan is approved under the Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme, you generally do not pay Lenders Mortgage Insurance. You are still responsible for your deposit, purchase costs, loan repayments and any other lender or property-related costs.
The Scheme is accessed through a participating lender as part of your home loan application. Once pre-approved, eligible buyers generally have a set period to find a suitable property and sign a contract. Liran can help guide you through the lender and pre-approval process.
